U Dubrovniku se 28. travnja u Time Out cafe-u održalo drugo ovogodišnje izdanje edukativno-zabavnog pub kviza u organizaciji udruge ESN Dubrovnik odnosno, u ulozi predstavnika centra EUROPE DIRECT Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije. Tema kviza u travnju bila je „Europska godina vještina“.
Tim povodom natjecatelji kviza imali su priliku pokazati svoje znanje na temu Europske godine vještina te saznati informacije o načinu kojim EU promiče mogućnosti usavršavanja i prekvalifikacije. Naime, u okviru Europske godine vještina, EU promiče veća i učinkovitija ulaganja u osposobljavanje i usavršavanje, vještine relevantne za potrebe tržišta rada, povezivanje ambicija i vještina ljudi s prilikama na tržištu rada te privlačenje osoba iz trećih zemalja s vještinama koje su potrebne EU.
U pub kvizu je sudjelovalo 8 timova od kojih je tim „Team 1“ nakon 3 seta pitanja odnio pobjedu s 3 boda razlike naspram drugoplasiranih. Pobjednici kviza izjavili su kako im je iznimno drago da EU potiče svoje građane na poboljšanje vlastitih vještina te kako su inicijative poput „Garancija za mlade“ izvrstan primjer mogućnosti prekvalifikacija te poticaja za samozapošljavanje. Pobjedničkom timu su po završetku pub kviza uručene prigodne nagrade.
