U Dubrovniku održana radionica namijenjena osobama treće životne dobi

U organizaciji centra EUROPE DIRECT Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, 26. lipnja u prostorijama Kluba 65+ Dubrovačkog Crvenog križa, održana je radionica „EU za osobe treće životne dobi“ usmjerena prema osobama treće životne dobi i općoj javnosti. Radionica je osmišljena kako bi sudionike upoznala s EU programima i projektima te potaknula dijalog o potrebama umirovljenika u lokalnoj zajednici.

Na početku radionice, sudionici su bili upoznati s pravima koja imaju osobe treće životne dobi odnosno, kao građani EU te inicijativama koje EU provodi za njih, poput prekogranične zdravstvene skrbi, programa za aktivno starenje, usklađenja mirovinskog sustava i Europske kartice zdravstvenog osiguranja (EHIC). Sudionicima radionice je također predstavljen način kojim EU podupire civilni sektor u svrhu poboljšanja kvalitete života osoba treće životne dobi, pogotovo u područjima socijalne uključenosti, kulture, cjeloživotnog učenja, jačanju zdravlja i sl.

Tijekom radionice predstavljeni su i konkretni projekti i inicijative financirane od strane EU koje su dostupne na lokalnoj razini, s posebnim naglaskom na projekt „Zaželi – prevencija institucionalizacije“ financiran iz Europskog socijalnog fonda (ESF), a koji se provodi u Stonu te Dubrovniku i okolici, a kojem osobe treće životne dobi mogu direktno pristupiti. Cilj projekta „Zaželi“ je pružanje usluge potpore i podrške u svakodnevnom životu osobama starijim od 65 godina i odraslim osobama s invaliditetom. U ovim projektima osobe treće životne dobi mogu sudjelovati kao korisnici ili se zaposliti. Sudionici radionice su pokazali interes za uključivanje u ovaj i slične projekte.

Kroz radionicu održana je i fokus grupa, u kojoj su sudionici imali priliku iznijeti svoje potrebe i prijedloge te razgovarati o načinima na koje EU može dodatno pomoći njihovoj zajednici. Ova radionica omogućila je izravan dijalog i razmjenu iskustava među sudionicima. Identificirani su ključni problemi i predložene konkretne aktivnosti koje bi mogle poboljšati kvalitetu života osobama treće životne dobi.

Sudionici su kao glavne prioritete naveli:
– Kontinuirano educiranje o demenciji i njezina prevencija
– Mentalno zdravlje
– Rekreativne aktivnosti
– Kulturološki sadržaj
– Edukativna putovanja
– Bolja informiranost
– Rad s mladima i djecom

Zaključci fokus grupe detaljno će se analizirati te će se na temelju njih izraditi i objaviti digitalna knjižica s rezultatima. Ova knjižica će služiti svim organizacijama civilnog društva (OCD-ovima) i ostalim zainteresiranim organizacijama kao koristan resurs za izradu aktivnosti za osobe treće životne dobi.
