U Sevilli je u nedjelju, 7. travnja, studentima Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, članovima Erasmus student networka Dubrovnik uručena prestižna nagrada ESN Award u kategoriji “Fundraising award” za organizaciju Humanitarnog buvljaka za udrugu Down sindrom Dubrovnik u 2023. godini.
Nagrada je uručena tijekom svečanog zatvaranja Erasmus Generation Meetinga, najvećeg skupa studenata u Europi koji je ove godine, tijekom četiri dana održavanja, okupio više od 1600 sudionika s ciljem promoviranja inkluzivnije mobilnosti, aktivnog građanstva i internacionalne suradnje u svrhu poboljšanja studentskog života u Europi. Za 14 različitih kategorija ESN Star Awarda prijavilo se više od 300 inicijativa i projekata iz više od 40 zemalja.
Važno je napomenuti kako je ovo druga godina zaredom kako ESN Dubrovnik osvaja prvo mjesto u jednoj od kategorija. Tijekom prošlogodišnjeg Erasmus Generation Meetinga ESN Dubrovnik osvojio je Cooperation award za ostvarenu suradnju s ESN sekcijama iz Francuske, Rumunjske i Njemačke. Iz navedenog se može zaključiti da se studenti iz manjih gradova poput Dubrovnika mogu uspoređivati i s najvećim studentskim gradovima,
U sklopu događaja održale su se brojne edukacije, paneli i radionice, a poseban naglasak stavljen je na važnost sudjelovanja svih građana na Europskim parlamentarnim izborima koji će se održati od 6. do 9. lipnja.
